Warriors Lose to Pittsburgh Central Catholic 1st Round Playoffs
Penn-Trafford Warriors lost to Pittsburgh Central Catholic 30-27 in a first round playoff game. The warriors finish the 2012 season 7-3.

Warriors host Pittsburgh Central Catholic
The PT Warriors host Pittsburgh Central Catholic Friday night in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs. Kickoff is at 7:30. You can listen to the Westmoreland County Playoff Preview Show at 7:30 pm Wednesday on Westmoreland Sports Network.
Warriors Defeat Hempfield
The PT Warriors defeated the Hempfield Spartans 16-0. The Warriors were led by Tom Stenelli's 162 yards rushing. Matt Loughnane added 3 field goals.
Warriors Lose to Gateway
The PT Warriors lost to the Gateway Gators 42-0 on senior night. The loss left the Warrios in 2nd place in the Foothills Conference. More to follow:
Warriors Defeat Kiski Area
The PT Warriors defeated the Kiski Area Wildcats 27-0. Dorian Stevens led the Warriors with 192 yards passing and 3 touchdowns. Austin scored on a 91 yard touchdown reception. Cima scored on a 50 yard touchdown reception.
QB Dorian Stevens was named one the Week #7 Westmoreland County Stars by Westmoreland Sports Network for their performance against Kiski Area.

Devin Austin was voted the Week 6 TribLIVE Radio High School Football Athlete of the Week.
Warriors Defeat Connellsville
The PT Warriors raised their season record to 5-1 by defeating Connellsville 38-17. Devin Austin rushed for 172 yards and 2 touchdowns (74 and 4 yards). Matt Loughnane broke the PT all time career field goal record by kicking a 37 yard field goal. Matt now holds the record with 12 field goals. The previous record was held by Stevel Huegel (11) during the 2005, 2006 seasons.

Warriors Defeat Latrobe
The PT Warriors defeated Latrobe 34-7. Dorian Stevens, Devin Austin, and Tom Stinelli led the Warriors. Stevens threw for 127 yards and 2 touchdowns. Austin rushed for 112 yards and Stinelli added 2 rushing touchdowns.
RB Devin Austin was named one the Week #5 Westmoreland County Stars by Westmoreland Sports Network for his performance against Latrobe.
Austin had 9 carries 112 yards & 1 TD.
Warriors Defeat McKeesport
The PT Warriors defeated McKeesport 28-14. Dorian Stevens led the Warriors with 173 yards passing and a touchdown. He also rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns.
QB Dorian Stevens was named one the Week #4 Westmoreland County Stars by Westmoreland Sports Network for his performance against McKeesport.

Warriors Defeat Altoona
The PT Warriors defeated Altoona 21-14 in the 2012 home opener. Tom Sinelli led the Warriors with 100 yards rushing and a touchdown. Dorian Stevens threw for one touchdown and returned a punt 64 yards for a touchdown. Vinnie Hetherington added a 6 yard touchdown reception from Stevens. Highlight videos to follow.

Warriors Defeat Norwin
The PT Warriors travelled to defeat the Norwin Knights 27-7. Dorian Stevens led the Warriors with 102 yards passing. The defense was led by Dom Cima with two interceptions. One returned 20 yards for a touchdown. Matt Loughnane tied the Penn Trafford Career Field Goal Record with 11.
CB Dom Cima was named one of six Westmoreland County Stars by Westmoreland Sports Network for his performance against Norwin. Dom had 2 interceptions. One returned 20 yards for a touchdown.

Penn Trafford Warriors Kickoff 2012 Season with Meet the Warriors Night
The Penn Trafford Warriors kickoff the 2012 season with meet the Warriors Night scheduled for Wednesday Aug. 15 at 6PM. The Green-Gold scrimmage is scheduled to start at 6:15. Following the scrimmage the band and cheerleaders will perform their pre-game and halftime shows. Meet the players, cheerleaders, and band will follow. Light refreshments will be served at the concession stand following the introductions.
