The PT Warriors raised their season record to 5-1 by defeating Connellsville 38-17. Devin Austin rushed for 172 yards and 2 touchdowns (74 and 4 yards). Matt Loughnane broke the PT all time career field goal record by kicking a 37 yard field goal. Matt now holds the record with 12 field goals. The previous record was held by Stevel Huegel (11) during the 2005, 2006 seasons.

The PT Warriors defeated Altoona 21-14 in the 2012 home opener. Tom Sinelli led the Warriors with 100 yards rushing and a touchdown. Dorian Stevens threw for one touchdown and returned a punt 64 yards for a touchdown. Vinnie Hetherington added a 6 yard touchdown reception from Stevens. Highlight videos to follow.

Penn Trafford Warriors Kickoff 2012 Season with Meet the Warriors Night
The Penn Trafford Warriors kickoff the 2012 season with meet the Warriors Night scheduled for Wednesday Aug. 15 at 6PM. The Green-Gold scrimmage is scheduled to start at 6:15. Following the scrimmage the band and cheerleaders will perform their pre-game and halftime shows. Meet the players, cheerleaders, and band will follow. Light refreshments will be served at the concession stand following the introductions.
